Rockwell College, one of the leading boarding schools in Ireland, is proud to celebrate the recent achievements of alumni David Marshall and Cathal O'Donnell, who were awarded the prestigious Trinity Entrance Exhibition Award on January 23rd. This distinguished recognition highlights their academic excellence and places them among an esteemed group of individuals who have made significant contributions to Ireland's economic, cultural, and political landscape—and beyond.
The Trinity Entrance Exhibition Awards have a long-standing tradition at Trinity College Dublin, with exceptional students honoured at a special reception hosted by the Provost. As part of this prestigious event, David (day student at Rockwell College) and Cathal (boarder at Rockwell College) were each presented with a €150 book token and a certificate, recognising their outstanding academic achievements.
Principal Audrey O’Byrne commented, “We couldn’t be prouder of David and Cathal. Their consistent effort and commitment during their years at Rockwell College, a premier Irish second level school, have paid off. It’s fantastic to see them achieving such success, and we are confident they will continue to excel in their studies and make their mark in their chosen fields.”
At Rockwell College, we are committed to nurturing young minds and providing students with the skills and confidence needed to succeed. Our school is dedicated to creating an environment where students can develop academically, socially, and personally, preparing them for a bright future. Achievements like these reflect the school’s focus on providing a strong foundation of academic excellence, character development, and opportunity—values that are integral to life at our boarding school in Ireland.
David and Cathal now join a proud tradition of Rockwell College alumni who are shaping the future and making their communities proud. Congratulations to both on this well-deserved recognition!
